The Landgasthaus Lwen is a friendly hotel with an excellent cuisine, bright rooms and rural charm in the small town of Elgg, in the canton of Zurich. The kitchen team prepares traditional dishes of the Spanish cuisine as well as dishes from grandmother's cookbook. The Landgasthaus Lwen's hall seats up to 50 people and is ideal for meetings, seminars, family celebrations or business events. Elgg is located in a scenic landscape between Winterthur and Wil, that is ideally suited for cycling, hiking and horseback riding. Sights include the historic Elgg Castle and the romantic small town itself. The train station of Elgg is about 1.5 km from the hotel (a 15-minute walk). Please note! If your arrival day is a Sunday or a Wednesday please contact the hotel one day before arrival, using the telephone number given on your booking confirmation. As on these days the restaurant is closed you will get information about how to access the hotel.
