Nestled at the foot of the renowned Grand Paradis ski run, 150 metres from the new, 6-person, high-speed chair lift, this is a ski-in/ski-out haven in winter and an ideal base for summer activities. With the famous Dents du Midi on the left and the lush wooded area on the right, The Auberge du Grand Paradis boasts a scenic location. The hotel is a traditional Swiss chalet with 10 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. This is a little piece of original Switzerland with wooden walls and charming atmosphere. The cuisine is superb, offering meals from around the world, like curries, chili, pasta, pies, raclette as well as culinary delights from the Valais Area. This is one of the 2 restaurants in the village offering Raclette feu de bois, prepared over the open fire which gives it a totally different taste. Also British classics like steak and Guiness pie or Fish and Chips can be enjoyed. After a grand day of skiing, you can stop right outside at the Fire and Ice Apr®s Ski Bar on the terrace. Unwind with a 'Glºhwein', a beer or a cup of hot coffee and choose from a wide selection of crepes and cakes, or ice cream for the little ones. The tranquil daytime bar is transformed into a lively gathering place at night, where beer and conversation flows and if that is too much for you, just kick your shoes off and relax in non-smoking TV room.
